A plan for parenting and purpose for your family

In teaching people what I know about learning, parenting, mindfulness, brain research and core values, I hear a resounding...

Oh my goodness, everyone should know this

Which is why I have put it all together in a systematic plan backed by education and brain research to help your family put together a map for how to parent and live life to the fullest and how to teach your children to do the same.

How do I get started on helping my family to grow and thrive?  How do I restore peace in my home?  How can I parent my children to live meaningful lives and not become statistics?
That's easy, choose a course and started growing roots!

Join one of my 12 week courses (1.5 hours a week) that will teach you how to set your family up for success and how to grow a strong, resilient, family that will be able to weather life's storms.  Each week we will discuss a new brain-based research topic that will help you become a better parent and enable you to help your family gain life skills that they need to combat the issues we see in society today.

Each week we will build on previous learning and you will walk away with activities that you can immediately implement in your home.  We will hold discussions and brainstorm about how to help each family reach their ultimate potential in finding their purpose.  This model allows for each participant to try out what they have learned each week and to come back the following week with questions and celebrations they have seen in their home based on their brain-research based actions.

This class is for children K-1, 2-3, 4-6 who are dealing with stress and anxiety issues. We will work through a system of understanding anxiety and develop mechanisms for being aware of anxiety and working through it.  Just like the Jedi use their minds to face their fears so will we. Children will participate in understanding how the brain and body work in stress and anxiety and develop tools and plans to deal with emotions and fears associated with stress.  Parents with children in this class are required to take May The Force Be With You: Parenting Children With Stress and Anxiety using mindfulness and brain research class before enrolling their child or concurrent enrollment.

This series of sessions focuses on the important and integral grandparent.  In any family, grandparents are a component that can lend a distinguished and experienced hand in growing good roots.  Helping grandparents understand how to better connect with their grandchildren as well as support learning and brain growth allows grandparents to raise their game to a whole new level.

This class is for 5th-7th graders in which we explore the Netflix series, The Kindness Diaries. Each class we will watch an episode, break it down and talk about how it relates to our lives and our world.  We will link the show together with brain development research in mindfulness, kindness, gratitude, empathy, compassion for others and growth mindset.  We will also learn geography and world cultures as we take a ride around the world with Leo Logothetis and his motorbike, Kindness One.  This is an empowering kid class that discusses how we can help spread kindness through out the world.

Watch my travels around the world on my yellow motorbike Kindness One. I rely entirely on the kindness of strangers and give back to unsuspecting good Samaritans along the way. During the trip, I discover that being ‘seen’ is the most powerful gift we can give others.
The show is about sharing compassion and empathy with others. It’s is about smiling at the world and seeing what happens when the world smiles right back at you.
